Elisa Grezzani è l’artista dell’anno per la provincia di Bolzano e porta a casa il premio assegnato dalla giuria formata da rappresentanti dell’unione albergatori, Lisa Trockner del Südtiroler Künstlerbund e i critici Andreas Hapkemeyer e Silvia Hoeller.
Da poco si è conclusa la sua prima esposizione pubblica presso il Palais Mamming Museum di Merano ed ha partecipato con la galleria a VOLTA Basel 2021, sua prima fiera internazionale, con importanti apprezzamenti di pubblico.

Sabato 16 ottobre sarà possibile apprezzare una selezione delle sue opere più recenti nella mostra personale dal titolo “The Flow” presso la Galleria Stefano Forni.

“I numerosi strati conferiscono alle opere un certo dinamismo, le esplosioni di colore colpiscono il fruitore sia a livello emotivo che fisico: questa pittura cross-space colpisce attraverso la sua sensualità e la sua ambiguità materiale.” (da Una pittura che invade lo spazio L. Ragaglia)

“I colori hanno un forte carattere contemporaneo, perché distanti dal cromatismo oscuro del passato, intensi e quasi fluorescenti. Rimandano a un’esperienza tutta legata all’oggi, non sono naturalistici ma volutamente artificiali, al limite del sintetico. Eppure nel loro attento dosaggio, nelle stesure sviluppate per sovrapposizioni, accostamenti, trasparenze e coperture, riescono a raggiungere anche una forma di sofisticato equilibrio, quasi una classicità che non ci si aspetterebbe di riscontrare visti gli ingredienti esplosivi di partenza. Elisa Grezzani is the artist of the year for the province of Bolzano and won the prize awarded by the jury made up of representatives of the hoteliers union, Lisa Trockner of the Südtiroler Künstlerbund and critics Andreas Hapkemeyer and Silvia Hoeller.
Her first public exhibition at the Palais Mamming Museum in Merano has just ended and she participated with the gallery at VOLTA Basel 2021, her first international fair, with important public appreciation.

On Saturday 16 October it will be possible to appreciate a selection of her most recent works in the personal exhibition entitled “The Flow” at the Stefano Forni Gallery.

“The numerous painted layers lend the works an individual dynamic, and the bursts of color strike the viewer on an emotional and physical level: the force of the expansive paintings lies in their sensuality and material ambiguity.” (L. Ragaglia “A painting, which breaks spatial boundaries”, 2021)

“Yet in the measured use of colour – applications that are layered and juxtaposed, transparent or covering, these works also manage to achieve a sophisticated form of balance that is almost classical in nature, and that we would not expect to find, given the explosive ingredients that the artist starts out from. This balance indeed preserves all the power of the individual impulses and the dissonant centrifugal forces that nonetheless come together harmoniously, exerting a reciprocal influence yet losing none of their force or depth of purity. Elisa Grezzani is born in Bressanone in 1986. She lives and works in Bolzano.

The opening will be held safely and in accordance with the current rules to combat the spread of Covid-19.
The green pass is mandatory during the opening event.
